On Sunday, February 9th, and Monday, February 10th, many Kabbalah Centre students across the world celebrated Tu B'shvat by planting trees in their local community and gathering together to study the deeper meaning of this beautiful holiday. We learn in The Kabbalah Centre about the different levels of consciousness that exist in the world, including that of the inanimate kingdom, the vegetable kingdom, the animal kingdom, and the kingdom of man, each with its own level of spirit. Just as humanity has its new year, so too do the trees. Tu B'shvat is that time each year when trees are imbued with their life force, which gives them the strength to move upward as gravity tries to pull them down. This is an opportunity for us to not only support our majestic friends in their work but to also connect to the energy available in the universe that can assist us in rising up against our gravitational pulls – those challenges in life that weigh us down.
