This week’s sky holds a very rare configuration: a super combination of Mars, the moon, Venus, Neptune, and Jupiter, all in the sign of Pisces. This creates an incredible energy—Venus is exalted in Pisces, and Jupiter and Neptune are at home in Pisces. This means we can tap into a rare and positive channel to receive deeper love in our lives.
As you know, each week is tied to a chapter inside the Torah with very specific life lessons. This week’s chapter, Kedoshim, offers the famous statement, “Love thy neighbor.” Three short words reflect the essence of Pisces’ positive side.
The ancient sage, Hillel, knew the difficulty we each face in achieving this goal. So he suggested an easier way that goes beyond loving thy neighbor. He taught that we could begin with living by this simple instruction:
“That which is odious to you, do not do unto others.”
Quite simply, if we want someone to approach us with joy, then that is how we should approach others. Whatever we desire from others in our lives is precisely what we need to extend to the world.
