We can learn a great deal about the energy of this week by reading the chapter, Korach in the Zohar.
The week begins with the explosive moon in Aries challenged by a square with Mars in Cancer, which is considered a difficult position for Mars. This martial energy arouses the desire to fight and initiate conflicts.
However, when we look at the first discussion in Korach in the Zohar, we notice that it is about the importance of peace. As Rav Berg would often teach, being right is not necessarily Light—even though right and Light seem to go hand-in-hand. The Zohar says that "peace" is an actual Name of God.
As the week progresses, Mars moves out of its challenging position in Cancer (we will notice this by Friday evening). And the moon ends the week in Cancer together with Venus—a symbol to love. This also coincides with a new month and the New Moon of Cancer.
The stars and planets move from war, conflict, and anger to love. Have you ever felt your wrath suddenly transformed into peace through the energy of love? This can happen through a hug, movie, song, or meditation. This potential for transformation is the theme of the week.
