“The problem with judging is that things are rarely as they seem. We see someone hurting others, but we don’t see how badly they were once hurt. We see those who act like fools, and don’t stop to think how the very definition of a fool is one who knows no better. We see those who behave like clowns, but we are not aware that their motivation is simply to make someone smile...” – Karen Berg on the portion of Shoftim.
This week is all about managing the energy of judgment in the most elevated spiritual manner. Is judgment good or bad? We all tend to believe that judgment is a negative force. And for the most part, the way we experience it does feel negative. But how can we use the energy of this week to elevate and transform?
This week begins with the Moon’s transit into the sign of Virgo, signifying the beginning of the month of Virgo in the kabbalistic calendar. Virgo’s energy is one that strives for perfection. From the symbol of the sign, the virgin, we can glean that one of the gifts (and weaknesses) of this month is striving for the idea of perfection and wholeness.
Karen’s message supports the understanding that when we judge or when we feel judged, we never truly see the whole picture. The more certainty and trust we develop in the Creator, in universal timing, in the fact that we can’t truly see or know everything, the better we can handle every situation while growing from it.
A beautiful aspect between Uranus and Neptune is here to support us and help us raise our consciences through the entire week. This positive aspect can help us get to a place where we are more aligned with the spiritual realm while growing our desire to connect to humanity. We can also grow our care for others and invest in the big picture. This aspect helps us to get motivated and spend our energy shifting global consciousness and spreading Light and positive energy all around us.
The one aspect we should all be mindful of as the week ends is the Sun in opposition to Saturn. Saturn can awaken a bit of a heavy feeling, especially towards ourselves. We want to be careful not to be too hard on ourselves. Saturn comes, and Saturn goes… don’t fall into the illusion of this potentially draining energy, and don’t allow it to take you down. Remember that this alignment is temporary. Find ways to focus on the good and raise yourself up!
