In this session, we further explore the concept of Tikkun — all that separates us from being like The Light and what causes us to be reactive. We’ll learn that we must work on the internal if we want to effect the external. And that only through your own personal transformation will gifts come. Find out what it looks like when your life begins to transform. Understand what you are able to effect when so much has been pre-determined for you. Welcome to class three.

"Parallel Destinies"
Strikingly similar to modern physics, the Kabbalists teach that we exist in a universe containing a multitude of dimensions beyond the four (3-spacial and 1-time) that we interact with in our everyday lives. These additional dimensions contain parallel universes and thus parallel versions of ourselves that we can connect with when given the opportunity. In moments of challenge and distress we can choose to resist the desire to receive for the self alone and transform it to the desire to receive for the sake of sharing, connecting us to a more abundant destiny.
"The Opponent"
The Opponent is actually a positive force disguised as a negative force that presents the opportunities for transformation. Sometimes known as the negative side, other side, evil inclination, and of course, Satan, the Kabbalists teach that the Opponent is not a personified figure as it would be interpreted in later religious texts. It is the energy force that makes the game worth playing. The Opponent provides the opportunity for you to win.
