Lesson Highlights

  • Losing sight of the big picture by focusing too much on specifics
  • Reconciling the duality of Tzav
  • We are all control freaks to a certain degree, but control does not bring happiness
  • The root cause of the ego is the desire to be like the Creator
  • Developing disgust of our ego and a need to change
  • Opening ourselves to divine connections
  • Expecting, and being open to the unexpected

Lesson Description

The word Tzav has an inherent duality; on the one hand it corresponds to ‘rushing to action’ in a spiritual sense, while on the other it corresponds to idol worship, or following without consciousness.  Join Eitan as he teaches us how to use the duality of Tzav to our benefit and how to free ourselves from our expectations and desire for control.
