Rav Berg decodes the connections of Purim, including the reading of the Megilat Esther (Scroll of Esther), shedding light on the holiday’s precept to share and the universality of the Purim connection, regardless of religious creed or upbringing. We learn of Purim’s power to assist us in tapping into the consciousness of certainty, thereby seeing through and leaving behind the illusions of the physical world.
Purim embodies the essence of heaven on earth, a state where there is only good and all of reality is one undifferentiated whole. We gain the opportunity to transform all of our doubts, fears, anxieties and anger into positive qualities of courage, inner peace and unconditional love for others through the reading of the Biblical Scroll of Esther, and a masquerade to uproot the presence of the Opponent and our ego from our lives.
