The chart of this month is pretty much like the ice palace of Narnia! It’s freeeeezing! The cosmos is so packed with Capricorn planets, that it feels like the cosmic temperature has dropped many degrees! Capricorn energy is very much like the North Pole!
For this whole month, we need to remember to warm up everyone and everything around us with good words and a big dose of humor!
Let’s look at some fun facts about our Capricorn friends.
First, they are possibly the grumpiest sign of the whole zodiac! One of first things we notice about them is that it feels pretty chilly around them. This is not the warmest sign we’ve ever met! They appear very serious and focused, and are carriers of Saturn energy. Saturn is the zodiac IRS, and is surrounded by ice rings. That’s why Capricorn energy feels a bit below the regular temperature. In truth, the apparent coldness is just a facade for their lack of self-confidence. Bottom line: don’t mess with a Capricorn!
Like a tax return, Capricorn will remember all the bad things that have ever happened in their lives and surroundings. However, they are gifted with many qualities–their great seriousness and sense of responsibility are legendary.
A Capricorn will work very hard and very slowly until their ambitions are reached. They will plan their retirement at 20-years-old! Another great thing about them is that we can leave them with a list of things to do and it will all be done thoroughly. Yet, care should be taken so they don’t turn into workaholics.
Very often, the Capricorns of a family are the firstborn and take a lot of the family responsibility from a very young age. Many Capricorns remember difficult childhoods. This comes from the fact that they are, indeed, old souls. During their childhood years they may have looked at their parents and families and asked themselves, “What’s wrong with these people? They are so childish; they don’t understand anything!”
Their tikun is similar to that of a Scorpio in that they are very sensitive to lack. Oftentimes the feeling that something is missing in their lives can be overwhelming and they speculate that other people have things they don’t have. And truth be told, the cosmos often reinforces their fears–they can find themselves the last ones to be served in a restaurant. Or they cannot find the item they are seeking in a shop. All kinds of funny stuff can happen to Capricorns because of their fear of "not having."
A non-spiritual Capricorn can suffer many losses in his or her lifetime because they often choose to trust their purses instead of the Light. One example: Richard Nixon. Their karma is to let go of materialism, since for them material belongings represent safety and security. When a Capricorn turns spiritual they are able to become tremendously un-materialistic and elevated.
Surprisingly, romantic Capricorns are the water of the Earth and are, in fact, a lot more sensitive than they appear. Their potential for intuition is quite amazing.
Saturn rules bones, joints (especially knees), and teeth. Therefore, Capricorns will have weaknesses in these parts of their bodies. They should always take care to eat right and include products of the land, such as grains and veggies, in their diets.
Capricorns will excel in professions like accounting, government, animal care, and agriculture (some Capricorns prefer plants and animals to human beings!).
