Hi everyone! We are slowly approaching the lunar month of Cancer! In the Gregorian calendar, we already have one foot in the door since the sun has moved to the sign of Cancer.
This week’s chart opens up with an Aquarius rising and nine planets in water! Get ready for a tsunami of emotions, and we are not even in lunar Cancer yet! Picture this: the moon is in Pisces, conjunct with Neptune (also in Pisces), and a total of four planets in Pisces. Mars is still retrograde in Scorpio conjunct with the black moon!
The most important trend of this week is definitely balance, i.e. regulating our emotional system. Actually, the chart really feels like a rollercoaster. Our emotions are similar to waves. All kinds of feelings are arising this week—feelings we thought we had already dealt with! This is indeed our final stretch for the month of Gemini!
How on Earth are we supposed to balance our act with such a cosmic chart? It seems a lot easier said than done. Ladies and gentlemen, the universe is pushing us to grow by showing us how much restriction we can possibly do! Let’s go for the full Monty!
Our first thing we need to understand this week is how much chaos these emotions can create if uncontrolled. A lot of destruction, separation, or judgment (especially towards our immediate surroundings) can, in fact, be generated by uncontrolled feelings. When we feel overwhelmed and kick and scream, a lot of chaos and hurt is created—some of which comes back to bite us later!
So, what are we supposed to do? Just repress all feelings?
To the contrary, emotions need to be reframed and recycled. Many emotions are, in fact, related to our surroundings. I recently stumbled upon a great article about how our aura affects others. Kabbalistically, it’s very true: our energy projection is about four amot wide (2 m)!
So, unbeknownst to us, we feel the energy of others very deeply and we respond to it. Sometimes, we have an aversion to new people without understanding logically why. Or, we may simply feel very different from them. There is obviously a karmic reason why, but the biggest lesson for us is related to empathy.
The cosmic reason so much water is present at this time is so we can feel others more and learn to accept them just the way they are. Kabbalists very wisely say that if we were in other people’s shoes, we would probably act exactly the same as they do! Once we realize we are not smarter than anyone, we might just decide that judgment leads to separation, and for us, that is not an option.
The second gift of this week is a fantastic opportunity to develop our intuition through meditation, or by simply connecting more deeply to our “gut” feelings. Deep instincts are emerging right now, and it’s time for us to realize how accurate they are. As long as we don’t let these emotions turn into judgments!
